Finally the Bookster Cabernet Sauvignon is BACK. It has not been since the 2006 Vintage that we have had the Bookster Cabernet Sauvignon back in the shop.
Today is the launch of the New Bookster Cabernet Sauvignon 2009! With a new look, a tremendous vintage (2009) and an exceptional new pedigree.

First things first: the Bookster Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Napa Valley fruit sourced from some of the finest vineyards of Napa. Including the likes of Stagecoach, Beckstoffer To Kalon and Beckstoffer Dr. Crane. The winery and winemaking team behind this luxurious wine has asked to remain anonymous. What we can tell you is that this team has turned out exceptional “Cult” Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Blends vintage after vintage consistently garnering mid to high 90 point reviews from Robert Parker and now Antonio Galloni of the Wine Advocate. As we did use the term “Cult” – yes their labels sell for on average $125 to $150 per bottle upon release with many wines only being available via mailing list. To say there is an exceptional winemaker behind this team is an understatement. This young man has an outstanding track record and this project’s consultant is one of the biggest names in consulting today.
With a 94 point (Outstanding) overall score from the Wine Advocate team of Robert Parker and Antonio Galloni, 2009 is the perfect follow up to the land mark vintages of 2007 and 2005.
