As a Champagne Lover you know that Dom Perignon 2002 is one of the finest Dom Perignon ever produced.
The thing is that so many of us think of Dom Perignon as its own Champagne House, its own brand. Yet in reality, Dom Perignon is produced by Moet & Chandon.
Yes there is separate facilities for Dom Perignon and very selection vineyards but when it comes down to it, it is made by Moet & Chandon.
That leads me to what many of us are calling Baby Dom Perignon…the Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage 2002.
This vintage cuvee from Moet & Chandon is striking and very reminiscent of the Dom Perignon 2002.
If you are looking for a great vintage 2002 Champagne this one that is still available and drinking great right now.
The ink has not dried…and the printing presses are whirring at our printer in Pennsylvania, so we felt this would be the perfect time to get you all a “sneak peak” at the new Gazette long before it hits mail boxes. We spent a month working really hard to capture the best of the best of all the new-release wines hitting the market this Fall and presenting them to you at super sharp pricing.
Whether it’s 2009 Bordeaux, 2009/2010 Burgundies, 2010 Rhones, 2006/2007 Brunellos, hot new releases from Spain, California classics or premium spirits…This Fall Gazette has a little something for everyone.
I think that some of the deals are SO GOOD that a few of these offerings may very well be sold out before hitting peoples mail boxes.
Take the time to peruse this “sneak peak” as there is a lot of good reading.
All my best,
Andrew

Chateau Gazin is one of the great historic estates in Pomerol that is surrounded by the greats. This property has been on a roll turning out some exceptional wines and the 2009 is one of the finest Pomerol’s of the vintage.
Even though the company Gazin holds with its neighbors is some of the most sought after and prized Chateau of Bordeaux this wine has remained a relative bargain in comparison especially in the land mark 2009 vintage.

The 2010 Vintage is a stellar vintage overall, a classic vintage that has turned out plenty of exceptional wines. Pierre-Yves’ 2010 1er Cru Chenevottes is a great example of the vintage and a delicious one right now!

I could not help but make today’s filming of Andrew’s Angle as Jen and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary today.
Why am I at work filming this piece and not off in some tropical location raising a glass with Jen to celebrate 20 years? Because we are parents before husband & wife (Or in addition to) and our daughter Julia has her “moving up” ceremony from elementary school to middle school…we could not think of a better way to celebrate the day.
I am so lucky to have found Jen to be my partner…for MANY reasons. First, and foremost, it has been her warmth, love, kindness and gentle compassion that has made her my best friend for the last 20 years and such a special special person.
CHEERS honey…I love you!!
Secondly, having grown up in the Zacharia family, she has a great taste for the finer wines (And bubbles) from around the world. With one of her favorite Champagnes being KRUG…Atta girl. For as long as I can remember she has always had an affinity to this luxury brand and it has become our tried and true celebratory bottle for any of the bigger occasions in our life.
It’s good…it’s rich…it’s floral…it’s balanced…it’s elegant…it won’t break the bank in the category of luxury Champagne…and it’s usually readily available.
And for today…it comes in HALF BOTTLES.
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the past two decades gone by and look ahead to the next two decades to come than with a glass of KRUG with my lovely wife!!
To celebrate it I think it is a must to sneak a few of these “missiles” home so we can catch a quick glass after the graduation ceremony. I hope people will share in our celebration and that is why people who watch this video will see that I am making these rare-format bottles available for only $59/Half bottle. Since they are normally priced out at $75/Bottle…this is a really good deal for what it is.
If you wish to take advantage of Krug Grande Cuvee NV (375ML) {#117877} at $59/Bottle please feel free to e-mail me back at amcmurray@zachys.com or mention viewing this e-mail if calling in or visiting the store.
We look forward to hearing from you.
HAPPY 20th DEAR!!!
All my best,
Andrew
