Andrew McMurray has been part of the Zacharia family (a.k.a. The son-in-law) and working at Zachys since 1993. Over the course of the 18 years driving the retail portion of the business, Andrew has had the chance to taste/touch/be part of some of the most exciting wines from around the world. His energy and enthusiasm are infectious to all that work around him and he is never willing to rest on the store’s laurels. Wine should be part of “everyday” life and presented in a way that is fun, inviting and easy to understand.
In today’s day and age of electronic shopping, Andrew has less opportunities to meet and speak with the clients directly in the store. It’s his enthusiasm and plain wine speak that both his staff and clients alike have come to trust and follow over the last two decades.
Always looking to push the envelope, and is always happiest when he creates “Tumult” in his e-mail promotions…It means he is pressing the right buttons!!
With a GREAT passion for Italian wines (As this is where he got his start in the store) his tastes run the full gamut of the best of the best at all price points.
It is his hope that Andrew’s Angle will become a new and useful tool for people to continue to follow Andrew’s picks and direction as to what is hot and exciting in the wine world today.
